All About Islam - Istidraj adalah kesenangan dan nikmat yang Allah berikan kepada orang yang jauh dari-Nya yang sebenarnya itu menjadi azab baginya apakah dia bertobat atau semakin jauh.

وَلَا يَحْسَبَنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا أَنَّمَا نُمْلِي لَهُمْ خَيْرٌ لِأَنْفُسِهِمْ إِنَّمَا نُمْلِي لَهُمْ لِيَزْدَادُوا إِثْمًا وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ مُهِينٌ
And do not let the unbelievers think that grant Our grace to them is better for them. We give grace to them is just so multiplied their sins; and for those that insult. (Ali ' Imran: 178)
Another verse:
Do they think that possessions and children that we provide to them that (means that), we hasten to give out goodness-goodness to them, no, actually they are not aware of. (Al Mu'minoon: 55-56)
Other verses:
Then haste (o Muhammad) to-Ku (managing) for those who deny this word (Effective). later we will pull them gradually (towards destruction) from the direction they do not know, (Al Qalam: 44)
Other verses:
Then when the man struck with danger, calling us, and if We give him the favour of us he said, "Behold, I was given favors because it is just another kepintaranku". in fact it is exams, but most of them did not know. (Az Zumar: 49)
Written in Tafsir Al-Muyassar Zumar verse about Az 49:
ولكن أكثرهم -لجهلهم وسوء ظنهم- لا يعلمون أن ذلك استدراج لهم من الله، وامتحان لهم على شكر النعم
But most people – because of the ignorance and prejudice of their bad-not knowing that it is the istidraj of God and thanks to them in order to test for favors. (Tafseer Al Muyassar, 1/464)
It is also rumored by the hadeeth of the Prophet from ' ' Uqbah bin ' Amir ' Anhu, Narrated that the Prophet said:
إِذَا رَأَيْتَ اللهَ يُعْطِي الْعَبْدَ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا عَلَى مَعَاصِيهِ مَا يُحِبُّ، فَإِنَّمَا هُوَ اسْتِدْرَاجٌ ” ثُمَّ تَلَا رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: {فَلَمَّا نَسُوا مَا ذُكِّرُوا بِهِ فَتَحْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ أَبْوَابَ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ حَتَّى إِذَا فَرِحُوا بِمَا أُوتُوا أَخَذْنَاهُمْ بَغْتَةً فَإِذَا هُمْ مُبْلِسُونَ} [الأنعام: 44]
When you see God gives a person the world favors its preferred form but he likes bermaksiat, then it is just a mere istidraj, and then read the Messenger of Allah: when they forget the warnings given to them, we will open all the doors of pleasure to them; they were delighted with what has been given to them, We punished them with unsustainable levels, then when it's their speechless despair. (Al An'aam: 44). (Narrated by Ahmad, no. 17311. Sheikh Shuayb Al Arnauth mentatakan: hasan. See Ta'liq Musnad Ahmad No. 17311)
So says istidraj.
There are no matter if there is a world of pleasure given to believers, Salih, expert on worship, not the pagans and the immoral, then that is a God favors him disegerakan in the world, or it could be a test to elevate his position again. And Allah knows best
